ZhongTian technology Co., Ltd developed Optical composite overhead phase conductor (OPPC) was appraised by China Electricity Council in Beijing on May17th, 2008. The appraisal committee shows that ZTT OPPC has achieved International advanced level in general. OPPC was successfully applied in power grid telecommunication project which scattered Ningxia Hui autonomous region, HeĄŻnan province and HaiĄŻnan province. ZTT OPPC running network takes up 75% of market share and gets good social and financial profit.
ZTT OPPC Brand manager Wubing delivered speech about Ą°OPPC Application and DesignĄ± at the OPPC technology application symposium in Taiyuan (shangxi province) on April25th, 2008, which received strong response. In the process of 10KV and 35KV low voltage line transformation project, OPPC gives a useful exploration in optical fiber to substation and optical fiber to business hall. OPPC also can apply in wind power transmission line. In addition, ZTT supplies compact cable solution including OPPC accessories and insulated joint box.
It is analyzed by expert that ZTT OPPC makes full use resources of transmission line without increasing additional load to original line, no lightning broken strand, no short circuit current overheating and no electrical erosion. OPPC technology is an extension and supplement of OPGW and ADSS technology application. OPPC makes optical fiber telecommunication cover all power networks.
