Presently, ZTT sets foot in Telecommunication, Power system, Investment, Hotel industries. And ZTT established a product-chain of Optical Fiber Cable, Special Optical Fiber Cable, Radio Frequency Cable, Special Conductor (TASTR), Aluminum Clad Steel Conductor, AAC, AAAC, Submarine Optical Fiber Cable, Submarine Power Cable and Submarine Optical and Power Composite Cable, Communication Equipment, with these products ZTT becomes a professional company of manufacturing all kinds of Optical and Power Cables in China. At present, ZTT has 15 subsidiary companies, more 3000 staff and about 3 billion RMB permanent assets, and forms its enterprise structure by Shanghai Headquarter, Nantong Research Center, Rudong Garden Factory Site, and also sets up a sales net by Common Optical Cable, Special Optical Cable, Power Cable, and Overseas departments. In recent years, ZTT is titled as one of "China Communication Industry's Fifty Enterprises with Best Comprehensive Power", one of "China Optical Cable Industry's Ten most Competitive and Famous Enterprises", one of "China Electro-information Industry's One Hundred Best Enterprises", "National Quality Surveillance Inspection Exemption Enterprise" etc.

ZTT's main products, optic fiber communication products, include ten series, over one hundred types and more than 20 patents. ZTT products have been comprehensively used in first-class trunk lines of China Telecom, China Netcom, China Unicom, China Mobile, Poland Power Grid Company, Vietnam PC1, PC2, PC3, Brunei Telecom, National Power and State Grip Telecommunications Center. And it also contributes to Southeast Asia, Middle East, South Africa, East Europe and etc. ZTT ADSS, OPGW, SOFC, optic fiber ribbon cable and optical cable cord are listed respectively in China National Torch Program Items and National Innovative Products. ZTT ADSS, OPGW, SOFC and Micro Cable System have been recognized as the First Brand in its field.

ZTT establishes cooperation relationship with famous companies from Swiss, America, Germany, Japan, etc. ZTT has established long-term cooperation relationship with many science research institutes to develop technology and personnel training. ZTT has built its own way of introducing and obtaining advanced technology, and innovating new cooperation field. The long-term strategic cooperation relationship with Japan Hitachi Cable Co., Ltd. is recognized as a model of international cooperation. By seven years cooperation with Hitachi, its OPGW occupies the First Brand of Special Optical Fiber Cable in China's Power Industry. Now, Hitachi cooperates with ZTT again and establishes Zhongtian Hitachi Radio Frequency Cable Co., Ltd., which contributes to China's 3G market.

ZTT has made great progress in developing new competitive products and optimizing industrial structure by capital method. ZTT introduced the most advanced technology and equipments, and successfully developed Aluminum Clad Steel wire and ACS Stranded Wire series products, which have passed the national, appraise. ZTT purchased Shanghai Aluminum Factory and established "Shanghai Zhongtian Aluminum Co., Ltd.", which dedicates to developing and producing High-tense Aluminum Alloy Conductor and Thermal-resistance Aluminum Alloy Conductor series, and has already made good progress. ZTT sets up Zhongtian Technologies Submarine Optic Fiber Cable Co., Ltd, in 2004. Its mainly products include Submarine optic fiber cable (SOFC), Submarine Power Cable, Submarine Optical and Power Composite Cable, Aluminum Rod, Power Cable and Conductor, its Chinese market share has been increased steadily and became a famous brand of SOFC in China.
